It’s okay.

It was my first stay here, though I usually try different hotels. The experience was neither good nor bad, and the staff seemed fine, maybe in their 50s or older. The building is old, but the room was clean. The heating and cooling system, which looked like it might be the original one, seemed a bit worn. There was air conditioning, so I don’t think it was a problem. The price seemed reasonable. The parking lot is behind the building and may fill up if there are lots of guests. They might manage the number of cars with traffic cones, so ask a staff member. It seems to cost 800 yen per day. It’s quicker to drive to the convenience store people mention, since it takes a little longer on foot. For cigarettes or similar things, it’s best to use a nearby shop or buy them in advance.

The building is old, but the rooms are roomy and the beds are large, so it’s a good place to stay. It’s close to Sasebo Station, making it easy to get to Huis Ten Bosch and Nishikai. This is the only business hotel in Sasebo.

The room was comfortable and spacious. Parking costs 800 yen, which feels far too expensive for this area, and having to hand over your car keys every time is a real hassle given the parking setup. Breakfast is 900 yen, also too much for me. I didn’t try it, though.

I book this place every month for business trips. The rooms were very clean, despite some people criticizing their condition. The artificial marble around the bathroom sink had darkened with age, but it had been cleaned well. Food quality is good, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The front restaurant staff even contacted me later when a certain room type wasn’t available, as they were concerned. You can book two-board stays directly, though I couldn’t find them listed on travel sites. It’s a great option for business travelers and also well placed for sightseeing, between Huis Ten Bosch, Sasebo, Ureshino, and Arita, just two minutes from Haiki Station. Huis Ten Bosch, Sasebo, and Arita are also easy to reach by train.
