Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Saikaibashi

My husband and I like to stay here for one night every few months, and we used to love it. A few months back, it seems the ownership or brand changed. Room prices stayed the same, but a lot of things disappeared: included alcohol, live music in the lobby, an onsen basket and towels, women's hair products, water in the room, and more. Recently I asked for a little salt for my fruit because they'd removed the salt from the tables. The chef said no. Why charge so much and offer so little? It's a shame, and staying here has become really disappointing.

The hotel has been renovated throughout, and the views of Saikaibashi bridge and the whirlpools below are great. Breakfast and dinner were good. You can walk through the rose garden and continue on to the nearby fishing harbor to take in the lovely natural surroundings. I'd stay here instead of at Huis Ten Bosch and use their free shuttle.

I've been here several times, and it's one of my favorite places for a getaway. The rooms are lovely and have great views, and the hotel feels spacious and modern. They also have hot springs and a great international buffet. I think the staff are fantastic and kind.

There’s a bar in the lobby with free drinks, beer included. The room itself was tiny and had no bath towels or a view. It felt like it might once have been a linen closet. Bathrobes are available at reception, self-service.
