S-Beam Plaza is right across the street, which makes shopping convenient, and Sendai Station isn't far away. The hotel itself is quite old and small. Breakfast was limited to 2 kinds of bread and boiled eggs.

The room didn't match the photos or the price. Every room available was a smoking room, and the smell was really strong. Parts of the toilet were coming loose, and a noisy clock kept me from sleeping until I turned it off. I trusted the hotel's pictures and the positive comments on the booking website too much. The photos seem edited to make the place look clean and nice, so be careful.

The location was really good, close to public transport, food shops, and restaurants.

There was dirt everywhere, including things left by previous guests under the beds. The showers had mold, and the room hadn't even been vacuumed. I told the hotel staff about the filth, but nothing was done. There was only 1 outlet in an inconvenient spot, and they hadn't provided enough towels for 4 people. We had to pay to get another one. These were just some of the problems with the room and hotel.

The location was great, the staff were friendly, and laundry was free. But the room smelled like cat piss and the beds felt like they belonged in a prison camp. The carpets were stained with who knows what, and I couldn't find any outlets at first. I eventually found one.
