I paid under 20 pounds a night for a single room, less than most hostels I've used, and could stay just five minutes from sendai station. For the price, I had no complaints about the room or the hotel. It felt like an average three-star place, but the rate was the surprise. The only annoying bit was having to leave my key with the staff every time I went out, even when I wasn't checking out. They do have someone there around the clock, at least, but it made quick trips to family mart for snacks a hassle.

The price is good and the free Wi-Fi had excellent bandwidth. Staff speak little to no English. Breakfast was below par and really dull, with exactly the same thing every day.

On my cycling trip, they took good care of my bicycle, and the front desk staff were polite and helpful. The room was clean, the station is close, and the price was reasonable. I've stayed in a lot of hotels, and this one is among my top ten. I highly recommend it.

There's a 7-Eleven right across the way, and the hotel itself was clean with polite staff. Sendai Station is a moderate walk, neither especially close nor far. I didn't find amenities like lotion, though hair irons and similar things seem to be available to borrow. No free coffee service, which is common these days. The key is an old-style bar type, and you leave it whenever you go out.

It's conveniently near the station, with a convenience store right across from the hotel. The room was fine, though I had trouble finding the Wi-Fi password, and it seemed there was only one elevator.
