Our stay was comfortable and easy. The hotel was clean and spacious, and the complimentary drinks had both alcoholic and non-alcoholic choices. I'd booked the wrong dates for my family. By the time I confirmed the mix-up with reception, the family room I wanted was already full. Koki, I hope I've got his name right, was incredibly kind and kept helping until he arranged a family room for two nights. My family had a happy, comfortable stay thanks to him. Highly recommended!

The price was good for what you get, and the public bath and free drinks were nice extras. The place is a little dated, but the location works well, one metro stop from Sendai JR station or about a ten-minute walk. The bed was much too soft, and after three nights my neck hurt. I also wondered about the room number being printed on the room card, since that doesn't seem safe if the card gets lost.

The onsen and free amenities were nice, and the staff were kind and helpful. But the bed was a catastrophe. I'm 1,65m and 65kg, and it sagged like a hammock. I slept on the floor instead, which was better for my back.

Sendai station and big shopping areas are close by, which made the location great. The room was a little small but worked for a short stay. It looked plain, with hardly any decoration, and the place seems more suited to business men than tourists. I wasn't in the room much, so that was fine.

For the price, it's a good hotel, with decent-sized rooms and most of the amenities you'd need. A few things bothered me: the heating left the room neither warm nor cold, and there was only one sachet of powdered tea with nothing else. The biggest problem was how unreliable the Wi-Fi was.
