Breakfast brings in Miyagi specialties alongside international choices, and it’s presented nicely. I also liked the roomy, quiet feel of the rooms, comfortable beds, and big windows looking out over the city. The design feels modern and polished, with a more upscale city-hotel atmosphere than I expected by the station. The location is hard to beat: Hotel Metropolitan Sendai East is practically part of Sendai Station, so you can get off the shinkansen and reach your room in minutes without going outdoors. Staff were efficient and professional, with that Japanese hospitality touch. A great fit for business or leisure.

The windows had lovely views, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. There’s complimentary coffee and tea in the hotel lounge, too. Being right over Sendai Station puts shopping malls and department stores close by. I’d happily stay here again on my next trip to Sendai.

The room was comfortable, clean, and well looked after, and the staff were really friendly. Getting around was easy since the hotel connects directly to the station and shopping mall. We could shop and find food without stepping outside.

The rooms are spacious for this kind of hotel in Japan, and the bathrooms feel new, very clean, and comfortable. Food and shopping are easy to reach nearby. The breakfast was better than at a lot of five-star hotels I’ve stayed in, and the front desk service was excellent. For a “3-star” place, what more could you ask for? I’d definitely stay again.

The gym isn’t big, but it’s enough for a workout. Rooms are comfortable and have good amenities, and the hotel itself feels modern and new. It’s at Sendai Station, so getting there by train is easy, and car rentals are nearby. Parking is available too.
