Casa Grande

We only had two of us, but the room could comfortably fit five or six. The bedroom was clean and roomy, and we slept well. We ate out this time, though there's a stove, microwave, and dishes, so cooking for a bigger group or staying longer seems like it would work well. I'd like to bring my family next time. A great choice if you're visiting Furuniya.

It feels surprisingly luxurious, and I'd recommend it. The building used to be apartments, and it's been renovated into a place with great facilities, though there's no food service and no staff, so it feels more like a private rental. A few practical things could be better: there were five of us but only four chairs, and the air conditioners shut off when running at full capacity and don't cool very well. I suppose that's hard to avoid. I also wanted somewhere to hang towels and a stand beside the shower for bath towels and clothes.

We spent two nights there during the pre-opening, and it was the sort of place that made us wish we could stay longer. The 1LDK apartment was over 60 square meters, with high ceilings that made it feel open and spacious. It was quiet, comfortable, and stylish, and we really enjoyed relaxing there. All the cooking gear was provided, so making our own meals was an option. It seems like five people can stay comfortably, and we'd love to come back with family.

Past reviews: The room was clean, spacious, and free of bugs, which was great. Its stylish design hid a lot of things, so I had trouble finding where everything was, but it wasn't a big issue. I lounged on the Yogibo and watched Netflix. The drying rack was flimsy and kept sagging, and the hangers were too small to be useful, so those could use an upgrade. The rate is now more than double. The second and third floors used to cost the same, but it looks like the second floor is pricier now. It's a nice place, but the cost has me a little concerned.
