Shiretoko Noble Hotel

The convenience store is just a three-minute walk away, which made the location really handy. You can rent an umbrella on snowy days too.

The staff were very friendly during my stay in the pre-opening period. I had a 90-minute buffet dinner and breakfast, and all the food was delicious. There was a beer tap and other alcoholic drinks you could have as much as you liked. The room was spacious, and the top floor had a large public bath. I also enjoyed relaxing in the lounge with free coffee and tea. It's convenient for joining nature observation tours, since it's close to Utoro Onsen Bus Terminal and Utoro Shirietoku Roadside Station.

I stayed on a weekday in late February 2026. The location is terrific, close to roadside stations, bus terminals, and convenience stores. Compared with other hotels, I'd give it six stars for that. The room was roomy and relaxing, and the bed was very comfortable, with the comforter tucked in tightly. The hot spring bath isn't large, but it never got crowded, and I liked the outdoor bath. Both meals are buffets. Breakfast was fine, but dinner was a little disappointing, even though they made an effort with kamameshi cooked at the table and served meat to each table once. The all-you-can-drink beer was a nice touch. There were many foreign service staff. Their Japanese was a little halting, but I was glad to see how hard they were working. I'd like to stay here again when I come to Utoro. Thank you very much.

We came with eight people on February 13th. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and even arranged a transfer from Shiretoko for our return because the last bus was at 2 pm. The property has been renovated and refurbished!
