Over Obon, our family of three stayed in a separate cottage. The service was good: they brought mosquito coils and replaced our futons right away, and there was shampoo, hand soap, insect repellent spray, Febreze, and more. Still, there were lots of mosquitoes outside and ants indoors. The futons smelled used, and one of the two air conditioners was broken. At 9000 yen for a room without meals, I thought it was too expensive. It's an older place, so it might suit a group of guys looking for somewhere cheap just to sleep.

Staying here felt like visiting my grandmother's house. It has the character of an old Okinawan home, and I found it really relaxing.
