It’s very close to JR Shiretoko-Shari Station. The hotel looks a bit dated, but has what you need for a pleasant stay. The owners have always been kind and helpful.

The facilities are old, but everything is well maintained and kept clean, and the rooms are spacious. All the staff were friendly, and I’d recommend the place for a quiet stay. Its location is convenient, just a few minutes’ walk from Shiretoko-Shari Station and the bus terminal, with a Seico Mart next door. They helped me out when I was in a bind because I couldn’t stay at the accommodation I’d booked in Shiretoko.
I was grateful that the staff welcomed me with a smile even though my flight was delayed. It was Saturday during peak drift ice season, yet I still got a reasonable price. The toilet and bathroom were shared, but it felt like a good deal. The rooms have been renovated and are quite clean, though the building itself feels old. There’s no elevator, which makes it hard for wheelchair users. A convenience store is just a one-minute walk away. It’s a business hotel near Shiretoko-Shari Station, though a nearby chain business hotel draws more attention.
The front desk staff were courteous and helpful, and they accepted credit cards. This old building has a nostalgic feel, though it seems to have had some minor updates. It was clean and comfortable. Most rooms share bathrooms and toilets, but you can pay more for a room with a unit bath. The room was bright, had Wi-Fi, and worked well for getting work done. It also had a refrigerator, kettle, and other amenities. There’s apparently a coin laundry. The hotel is conveniently located near the station, right next to a convenience store.
The shampoo and little hat for kids were there, but I don’t think children should use them in the bath itself. The water was unbelievably hot. I usually like a hot bath, but this was too much to stay in for long, lol. Reception was quiet and barely said anything. The place I’d stayed the night before was much friendlier, so this felt a little disappointing.
