Getting here from Niigata Station by JR and bus was easy. We especially loved the public bath, the sulfur smell was really strong. Our room was cozy, clean, and tidy, with a private Onsen, and both dinner and breakfast tasted great. We really enjoyed our stay at Tsukioka Onsen Hisagoso and would recommend it.

There was a good range of choices at breakfast, and the Onsen area was spacious and clean. I also loved the welcome drink and the snacks, including champagne and nuts.

Breakfast was good, and the room itself was nice. Just be aware that the free Wi-Fi only works in the lobby, not in the room.

The food was excellent and good value. A nice place to enjoy if you can drive there.
