The portions were huge and the food was delicious. They handled our dietary restrictions without any trouble, replacing the pork dishes with other creations. The staff were caring and polite. Our clean room had an amazing view, and although the futon didn’t look very thick at first, it was extremely comfortable. I usually have trouble sleeping on futons, but I slept really well on this one. I’ve lived in Japan for a few years, and this was my most authentic Ryokan experience here, the best for hospitality and the overall experience. I sincerely hope places like this can keep existing and prospering!

The main building isn’t on Google Maps, though this was the closest location. The Onsens and surrounding area are lovely, and they’re tattoo friendly too. For Western visitors, the staff are all kind and helpful. Their English is minimal, but enough to get by with Google Translate. They’ll even drive you to local places such as the convenience store. This is a great place, enjoy!
