Bishoku no Kakurega Provence

My husband and I were so happy we stayed here. The staff were all polite and friendly, and very accommodating. They served everything with a smile, and the food was delicious.

I came to visit Ise Shrine on a day I thought would be lucky, and chose this hotel for the food and hot springs. Traveling alone, I really appreciated how kind everyone was. They were happy to chat with me over the meal, and the warm atmosphere and good food made it a wonderful day. Breakfast felt thoughtfully chosen, from the delicious bread to the soup with carefully prepared broth, which also felt healthy. One issue: the passkey for the top-floor lounge wouldn’t unlock, and it caused trouble for several guests. An easier way to get in would be more considerate.

We were staying in separate rooms because there were several of us, but the free lounge gave us a comfortable place to spend the evening together. I was impressed by that unusual service. The food was also well prepared and delicious, and left me feeling very satisfied.

We spent time in the lounge before dinner and again afterward, and the drinks after dinner made the evening feel especially special. The food was creative, with every dish enjoyable and tasty. I know what the drinks usually cost, so I did wish the ones served with meals were a little cheaper, though I understand. That’s my only complaint, and I’d like to come back. We also enjoyed the starry sky concierge tour and seeing lots of photos. It was quite cold that day, so next time I’d visit when it’s warmer.
