I won't stay here again. The room felt cramped, and the extra bed seemed to have been squeezed into a single room. It wasn't even a proper mattress, and the beds were rock hard. The air was stale and smelled of cigarettes despite being a non-smoking room. My throat got sore within an hour. For this price, I expected more, especially when newer, cleaner hotels with proper mattresses cost the same or less. Not impressed.

Breakfast was really good, and the room was nice too. It felt like great value, especially with the public bath. There were free drinks in the lobby all evening, plus free curry if you got there in time.

The walls are a little thin, but the other guests were considerate, so I had no trouble turning in early. I slept really well. It's starting to look a bit worn, but the place was very clean and comfortable, and good value.

The all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet was the highlight, with plenty of tasty Japanese and Western dishes for just 750 yen. My room and bathroom were quite tiny, though the bed was clean and comfortable. WiFi was good and parking was free. The hotel is a little farther from the city center if you want to explore on foot. Its formal English name is Hotel Crown Hills Nakamura.

The large bath was closed for maintenance during my stay, which was the one downside. Otherwise, Club Hills Nakamura was one of the nicest hotels I stayed at during my two months in Shikoku, especially for the price. The room and facilities, including free WiFi, were excellent. Breakfast was a well-stocked buffet with meat, eggs, and bread, and was a welcome change from the usual Japanese fish and rice. My single room was 5940, with breakfast another 750 yen, and it was well worth it.
