Coya Cottage

The setting made it easy to unwind, with a lovely sandy beach within walking distance and nature all around. We were there for three nights in August, during peak season, and had a fabulous time, though I wish we’d booked the whole week. Food choices nearby were limited without a car, so we wound up eating plenty of burgers, sandwiches, and pizza. The cafe had the best food we tried, but it only opened on the day we left, which was a shame. The cottage was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed, including good ground coffee. There was a kitchen and dining room with a big table and six chairs, plus two tatami rooms. The bathroom and toilet were separate. Only the main tatami room had air conditioning, so we all slept there. We could have cooked dinner ourselves, but preferred eating out. A small sofa or a couple of armchairs would have made evenings more comfortable.
