We stopped at the café for lunch, and the pizza was the best I’ve had in Japan. There were nine of us, enough to fill the dining room. The wait staff were quick and courteous, and one spoke English fluently. We all loved the food so much that everyone ordered seconds. If you’re within 30 minutes, go, it’s worth it!

The beach is right in front of the hotel, away from the busy Izu main road. If you want an ocean view, an onsen, decent food, and to bring your dog, this is the place. The room with the onsen was a bit pricey, but totally worth it.

It’s a pleasant beach and it wasn’t too busy when I was there. There are a few street food spots and places nearby with showers, and sometimes an Onsen. Just don’t expect a shower right on the beach.

The food was a real highlight. The Japanese dishes from the head chef were delicious, and it had been a long time since I’d eaten Japanese food that good. The in-room bath was great too. Thank you for looking after us!
