The hotel may be a little old, but that gives it a warm, authentic Japanese feel that makes the stay special. We had a lot of fun playing table tennis on the first floor, and it worked well for a family trip, with a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere and something for everyone. I booked a private onsen, which made the stay more comfortable and relaxing. From the seventh floor, the view was incredible, especially at sunset. I could sit by the window for ages just taking it in. Dinner beat my expectations: generous servings, plenty of choice, and everything tasted great. I especially liked the local bottled beer. Breakfast was fresh, nicely presented, and very good. If you want a full Japanese-style break and not just a bed for the night, this is a great choice.

We spent two nights here as a family, and the private onsen was a favorite. You need to reserve a time slot ahead, but having that time to ourselves was so relaxing. The staff were friendly from check-in through checkout, and breakfast was really nice too. The hotel has a lovely view and is close to the beach, with Adventure World just a few minutes away by car. Our room had a comfortable ryokan feel, and the lobby was spacious and beautifully designed. My kid was especially taken with the toy car 🤣

We came in winter, when there weren't many tourists around. The staff were very friendly, and our spacious room had a nice view. The private onsen was cozy too, though you have to reserve it at reception.

I was surprised by how good the stay was, since the low price had made me hesitate. The rooms were clean and very spacious, and breakfast was delicious. There are both private and public onsens, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout. You get the same view here as at Seamore, where you end up paying more. I can see why so many locals stay here. If you want pretentious Instagram posts, go join the other tourists at Seamore. I'd choose this hotel again.

They even let us use the onsen despite our tattoos, which was really accommodating. The service was excellent, and our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Thank you!
