From the terrace dining area and the open-air bath, the ocean view is wide and impressive. The guest rooms sit on a cliff about 20m above sea level, and each of the 12 detached rooms has its own open-air bath. The hot spring water is thick, and you can enjoy as much of it as you like. The view keeps changing, from blue water sparkling in the daytime to the sunset and the lights at night. I could have stayed in the bath just to watch it.

The dinners were a pleasant surprise, both for the quality and the value, and I’d recommend them. We really enjoyed a relaxing stay. Our room and private onsen bath had spectacular views.

There were lots of insects around the room, especially late at night, so this might not be the right holiday spot if bugs scare you. The staff were friendly, always smiling and welcoming. English isn’t my native language, and I’m not very fluent, but they did their best to communicate with us in English. I was grateful. There was also a handsome boy who spoke English fluently, I guess he was Indonesian? I also want to thank the driver who took us to a tourist attraction and picked us up. It was raining hard on the second day. When we arrived, he got out, carried our bag and waited by the car door without an umbrella, soaked through. He thanked us for spending time at their hotel. I really admired his attitude toward his work and hope he didn’t catch a cold.

The people here were so kind, and the view felt magical. The onsen was wonderful too, and the food was spectacular. Communication was easy because some staff spoke English very well. We had an absolutely incredible stay.
