Birupaku

Thanks for the great service. We were surprised by how huge the accommodation was, especially since check-in was at a different place. We'd booked for two adults and one child, and got what felt like a mini apartment, with a small kitchen, three large beds, and a big mat where we could lounge and watch Netflix or YouTube on the projector. The receptionist was very kind and helped us a lot by calling around to check whether any strawberry farms had space. I also liked Shizuoka's general vibe and would love to return. It felt calmer than other busy cities. One more thing, the hotel also moved the luggage we'd sent by taqbin to our room. The other hotel we stayed at afterward, at fujiq, didn't do that and hadn't even told us our bags had arrived before we asked.

A clean hotel in a convenient location right in the heart of Shizuoka, and one I'd recommend without hesitation. Just note that reception is in the pedestrian underground tunnel.

This was one of the best hotels I've stayed at in Japan. It's technically a kind of boutique hotel, with a luxurious feel and remarkable, creative interior design. The staff service and cleanliness standards were great too.

We stayed at Birupaku-Shizuoka in Cosmos 401. It was close to Shizuoka Station and the reception, and we really liked the hotel's decentralized setup. The staff were all kind and helpful, and the rooms were spacious, beautiful, and clean. There are lots of restaurants nearby, and they gave us complimentary drink tickets for Blue books cafe. This is a great place to stay when visiting Shizuoka city. Highly recommend.
