The landlady gave me detailed tips about nearby restaurants, and the quiet owner seemed kind. I stayed without meals, so I can't say anything about the food. It was inexpensive even over a three-day weekend. The inn seems historic but has been renovated and is very clean. It looks like they host training camps and similar groups, and a soccer team was staying there when I visited.

The owner's catch of hairtail was delicious, and the hostess was very welcoming. The place is clean, and with its large dining hall it seems well suited to big groups. I get the impression that student soccer teams often stay here.

I've stayed in business hotels and inns about 180 days a year for work, and Fukuzumi-san stands out as one of the best. The whole building is clean, and the rooms are spacious. This was my first business stay here this week, without meals, but the landlady and owner were so kind and focused on the guests. I'm grateful, and I'll definitely stay again next time I'm in the Shimizu area of Shizuoka. 🎤

The proprietress was kind enough to suggest places to visit in Shimizu, and I had a comfortable stay. Though it's a historic inn founded in the Meiji era, the building is new and very clean. I did feel that one futon wasn't enough for me, and I could have used a mattress or another futon.

The food was delicious, and booking by phone cost less than using the booking website.
