It takes about 10 minutes to reach the hotel from Soma station's west exit, though the local route is a bit tricky. From outside it looks like a trailer house, but the interior is modern. Pretty much like a standard Japanese business hotel.
The place was spotless and reasonably priced, and the staff were lovely. I'd happily recommend staying here.

I had a hard time finding the parking lot, which was a drawback. Inside, though, the building was very quiet and clean. The shower seemed to have a 15-20 minute limit for continuous use, and there's a hot spring roughly five minutes away by car. I was visiting roadside rest areas, and the bed, especially the duvet, was so comfortable that I slept right through until morning. I just wish the air conditioner could be adjusted so it wasn't blowing straight at my face, though that's a personal preference.
