Hotel Chorus Soma

The breakfast turned out to be a real highlight. There was plenty of rice and a generous spread of side dishes, plus miso soup with tofu, enoki mushrooms, chives, and soft egg. Even the fruit was cut into easy-to-eat pieces. I really appreciated those thoughtful touches, and the staff were kind throughout. I picked this newer hotel for its large parking lot, even though it costs a little more than places near the station. The room was tidy, and the bathroom had lots of space. They also provided bath salts, which made it easy to unwind. I hadn't expected much from a free business-hotel breakfast, so this was a lovely surprise. I'll stay here again when I'm in Fukushima Prefecture.

Breakfast was genuinely tasty. It's the usual kind of business hotel spread, but the individual dishes were good, and the parking lot had plenty of room. My room was clean, with a surprisingly spacious bath separate from the toilet. There isn't a reheating function, though. I chose the place from the options available for a business trip, and the name didn't ring a bell as somewhere I'd stayed before. The room itself was pretty ordinary, and there's no large public bath. The chairs creaked a little, though maybe I just got unlucky.

The room's spacious bathroom was a plus, and I appreciated having paper towels and disposable slippers. The bed was made in a relaxed, casual way, which I liked. Dinner was manageable even though the hotel is a bit removed from the downtown area, since there's a restaurant on the first floor that serves alcohol. It's a little walk from the station, but not an unreasonable one, and the large parking lot was useful. I'd stay here again if I get the chance. 2025/06

The first-floor restaurant was tasty, and I'd come back here next time I'm in Soma. I stayed for one night on the last weekend of October while sightseeing. Getting here by car was easy, and there was lots of space in the parking lot. My standard single room was clean, and I especially liked having the bathroom separate from the toilet.
