N Gate Hotel Osaka

The front desk staff took such care to help me get to Shinsaibashi. They wrote the route down for me, including the station names and transfer points, so I wouldn’t lose track of it. They also explained which subway line to use, where to get off, and what landmarks to watch for. I was visiting Osaka from abroad and wasn’t sure how to make the trip. The Japanese staff were patient and thorough, and thanks to their help I got there easily and enjoyed exploring. That kind of kindness really matters when you’re traveling somewhere unfamiliar. I truly appreciate it, and I recommend this hotel.

Even in the middle of the night, I could go to the front desk for help. The staff were really accommodating and helpful.

Getting around without a car was the downside, since the nearest public transport is quite far away. Rinku Premium Outlet, though, is very close. The hotel is large and comfortable, with spacious rooms and all the comforts you need. Staff were very friendly. They didn’t speak English, but they still helped however they could.

At around 8,000 yen, the price seemed reasonable, but I’d budget another 1,000-2,000 yen for a different hotel if noise bothers you. There were many Chinese tourists staying here, and the hotel was too noisy for me. Check-in also took a while, and I wasn’t attended to right away. The room was spacious, though not very clean. There was bottled water and tea, but no coffee. It’s a long walk to rinku-town, and a taxi costs about 1000 yen. Breakfast was mostly Chinese cuisine, so you may not enjoy it if that’s not your thing. There was no food left when I went down at 7:30am, so get there early. In my view, this isn’t the 4-star hotel it’s advertised as. It feels more like a 2- or 3-star place.
