Hotel Nikko Kansai Airport

My son was traveling abroad with me for the first time, and he struggled with the regular toilet in the US. Japanese toilets seemed designed more for adults, so the staff found us a child toilet seat. That was a lifesaver. The room was spacious and convenient, with enough space for three or four suitcases. We could bring the airport luggage cart up to the room and return it downstairs. Great service and location. I'd stay again, and would give them 10 stars if I could.

All the staff were warm, friendly, and attentive. The price difference from other hotels in the Kansai area is slight, but the convenience, service, and genuine hospitality here feel far better. Ms. Huong was very helpful and supportive during our stay. I also want to thank Mr. Tosuji (Manager). I mistakenly booked a different room because I truly thought I'd reserved the same one, and he graciously let us remain in our hotel room for another night. As a mother traveling with a child, having to move rooms can be stressful, so his understanding meant a lot. Thank you again to Mr Tosuji and the team for making our stay comfortable and pleasant. We're very grateful and will definitely come back.

The hotel was spotless and surprisingly quiet. I was worried the nearby planes would be noisy, but I didn't hear them. The rooms are spacious, with a standard-sized bathtub and the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Check-in and checkout are quick at the self-service kiosks, and staff are there if you need help. Especially handy for an early or late flight. One tip for finding it: Google Maps may send you on a 15-minute detour around the building, but it's less than five minutes from Terminal 1. Go up one floor from arrivals, or head to departures, then walk toward the Aeroplaza/Railway station building. The Hotel Nikko sign is easy to spot. I'd definitely stay again.

The beds were the main drawback for us. They were hard, had little covering, and left us with mild back problems. I also wish there had been a bath product for the wonderful bathtub. The rooms were spacious, with useful things like toothbrushes, hairbrushes, and skincare products from Olive Well and Pola. Staff were helpful, though they knew little English. We had a great room with a view of the Kansai airport runway. It's conveniently next to the Kansai airport terminal and the JR line. I'd definitely book again for the location.
