Tokiokasou

The staff were excellent, as others have said. I took the "Crab and Crab Day Trip Express Wakasa Takahama Plan" by Maizuru Limited Express train, and the inn's car took me between the station and the inn, which was very convenient. My room was ready when I arrived, so I could eat there comfortably. Bathing was included in the plan, though it's not a hot spring. The meal included crab and pufferfish hot pot, grilled crab using the same crab as in the hot pot, crab tempura, half a boiled crab, scalded pufferfish skin, tessa, rice porridge and dessert. Since the grilled and hot pot crab were the same, I wondered how to portion it and whether there would be enough. By the time I finished the porridge, though, I was completely full. They also gave me fruit and chopsticks as souvenirs for dessert. It was my first day trip by train, and I was very satisfied. The price was 17,300 yen per person, tax included, and covered the local train round trip from Osaka Station to Kyoto Station and the limited express ticket from Kyoto Station to Higashi-Maizuru Station.

We came as a group of five on the Kani Kani Day Trip Express. The grilled crab was delicious, and the proprietress treated us very kindly. We left with a lovely memory.

The BBQ dinner was delicious, and our room was clean. The place is near the sea, and the dedicated lockers were really convenient. At the affiliated shops, I didn't have to keep using small change either. Above all, the staff's kindness and thoughtfulness made the stay feel warm and comfortable. A wonderful place to stay.

I go every year because the food is delicious and the rooms are nice. There's a bar nearby too. If you're heading to Fukui, I definitely recommend staying here!
