For around 70 USD, I got the biggest room I've ever had in Japan, and the suites feel like great value. The staff meet each guest and share local recommendations, which I appreciated. There's a balcony too. Just don't expect anything fancy.

The room was spacious and clean, and the owner couple were lovely. They shared tips about the area, which was helpful. It's close to the walking street, too. Highly recommended!

The tram stop is right beside the property, and there's a supermarket just around the corner. The room also has a refrigerator, microwave, and oven, and the air conditioning kept it nicely cool in the summer. I came back to Takamatsu from Taiwan for the second time, this time with my colleague and her daughter, who were visiting for the first time. We were all very happy with the quality of the accommodation. The hosts welcomed us warmly at check-in and introduced us to the neighborhood. It was a comfortable, convenient stay. Highly recommended!

Alex pointed us to some great places to eat, and we really enjoyed them. My friend and I also found the place clean and comfortable. It's well located, with the station, port, restaurants, and bars not far away.

The room feels clean, has good WiFi, and is spacious. There's enough equipment to make a simple meal, though no microwave. It's about a ten-minute walk from Takamatsu Station, and the place has an in-between hotel and B&B feel. The main issue is the smell of tobacco. It seems like quite a bit of smoking goes on, so anyone sensitive to smoke may want to stay elsewhere. All in all, a fair price for a decent stay.
