Hotel Seven Seven Takaoka

There was enough room for two people and two big suitcases. The room is old, and there was some dust on the heater, but the staff were friendly. I really liked the tasty breakfast and dinner. Good value for the money, especially for a budget trip. You can save on your room and spend it on fresh Sushi in Takaoka.

The price is fair, and there’s plenty of parking. It’s the kind of business hotel you’d expect by a train station, with small rooms that are showing their age.

The building’s a little old, but it’s kept up well, and I had a pleasant stay. I couldn’t get a smoking room, though they did provide an air purifier. Since hotels in Kanazawa City are expensive, I was happy to find a reasonable price here. It’s near the station, with a convenience store and drugstore close by. I stayed one night over the three-day weekend in October with both meals included. The all-you-can-eat curry at dinner and the breakfast buffet were both delicious, and I ate well enough to recharge for the rest of my trip. If you’re heading out early, you might want to get in line outside the breakfast area about 10 minutes ahead. Thanks very much.
