Thanks for the hospitality. It was a good place to stay.

The place was nothing like the Trip description, and it was incredibly expensive. The facilities were old and outdated, and a terrible smell hit us as soon as we walked in. We tried opening a window to air things out, but there was a concrete wall right beside it and a graveyard beyond. We practically scrambled off to find somewhere else to stay. It was a horrible experience.

The floor looks as old as it did in the Trip.com booking photos, and the whole house feels damp and musty. The entrance is down a dark alley about 1.2 meters wide and 20 meters deep. Looking out of the bedroom window, you see a concrete wall right up against it. Through a crack, you can see a cemetery on the other side, separated by just that one wall. The Trip.com listing doesn’t mention it.

The photos look beautiful, and the whole room has a retro, hipster feel. It’s even better now.

Great. It’s more convenient to come in through the back door...
