I left disappointed and wouldn't recommend the hotel for the price. The mattress was very hard and the pillows uncomfortable, so a good night's sleep was difficult. The old, inefficient bathroom faucets also wasted water. During my stay, room service only emptied the trash. They didn't make the bed or clean the bathroom.

The breakfast was a generous complimentary buffet, with lots of Western and Japanese choices. We arrived at 8:30 and could get up for refills, then stay past 9 to finish. Nobody rushed us or stopped us from getting more. I got by fine speaking English and a little broken Japanese. I can't say what the other guest who complained was referring to, because the service was really top notch and I have no complaints. The staff were great, and some rooms have a nice view. The hotel is only a couple of minutes by car from the busy main drag, but it feels far enough away to relax. It's a good choice if you're driving or don't mind a taxi. On foot, you'd be better off closer to the station. By car, the attractions are just a 5-10 minute drive away. I'd stay here again.

It's in a quiet, secluded spot, and the room was clean with nice bathroom amenities. The hotel has a public bath with two options: one fully indoors and another semi-indoor, where you can open a sliding door to look outside and let in the cool air. Breakfast was great too. A really nice hotel.

The buffet breakfast was good, and you can use the free hot spring bath until 2am. It's a small hotel away from the city, which suits anyone wanting a quiet setting. The last shuttle back leaves at 19:30, though, so after that you'll need a taxi, which costs around 1,400 yen.
