Kujukogen Ginga no Yado Kinoko 2 Seigo

It was lovely to get away from the crowded city and be surrounded by nature. The stars looked beautiful, and we had a nice stay, though we sadly missed the observatory tour. The bed felt a bit old and shaky. We weren’t having dinner at the hotel, and the free private bath for guests was only available during dining time, from 18:00-19:00. The soundproofing was poor too, we could hear the neighbor snoring all night.

The peaceful setting and the owners’ warmth made this place much better than we expected. The forest outside our room was lovely, and everything around the lodge was so quiet. We picked it because it’s just two minutes from Kuju Flower Park, and the owners were friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We arranged dinner in advance and knew we needed to arrive before it started at 18:00. My mom can’t eat beef, so I asked for pork, but they substituted seafood instead. The private onsen was a perfect way to end the night. We really recommend staying here!

Tucked in the middle of a beautiful forest, the hotel was peaceful and quiet. The owner hosted us so graciously, and his warm, lovely hospitality made the stay really enjoyable. We’d love to come back in winter.

Matsudake san was a lovely host who took great care of us. The lodge was clean and nice, and we really enjoyed our time there. Breakfast was delicious, and the nighttime stargazing observatory experience was interesting too.
