Tendo Central Hotel

The double room was spacious and cost just over 7,000 yen for one night without meals. The hotel is right in front of Tendo Station, and it’s cheap. There were barely any amenities, though. For two people, we got two toothbrushes and one cup, and there weren’t even body towels. What were we meant to do? The air conditioning was incredibly hot even though we came in winter. I guess it’s because the old hotel has central air conditioning. We had to turn it off because it was that hot. My husband seemed to like the roomy, smoking-friendly room, but I... I’ll leave it there, since we’ll probably stay here again. (;^_^A) (´・ω・｀)

It’s very close to Tendo Station, and the hot spring town is within walking distance. Free parking is a nice bonus for such a convenient location. The building is definitely old, but it’s been well maintained. I’d love to come back if I get the chance.

The staff were wonderful, and both the front desk and breakfast service were excellent. But the building and rooms are too old, the Wi-Fi doesn’t work, and there’s a strange smell in the bathroom. This is a management issue. Invest in new facilities!

I was here for four nights on a business trip. The Japanese and Western breakfasts were both delicious. The Wi-Fi was weak and unusable, though. Also, my toothbrush got thrown away, lol. I don’t mind, but it was easy to use, so that was a shame.
