The house has a really nice kitchen and feels comfortable. The hosts are gentle and can shuttle you to other parts of the island. I loved spending five nights here, away from the crowds in Naha. A lovely spot to relax and enjoy Okinawa’s beautiful beaches.

What a lovely team at Kerama Backpackers, they arranged everything from pickup to rides to the beach and made me feel welcome among the sweetest people. I had such a good day there. Definitely recommend it whether you’re traveling solo or with friends. Arigatou Kerama Backpackers!

I loved the friendly atmosphere at Kerama backpackers and spending time with the other travelers and locals. It’s clean and comfortable, and well placed for getting around. They arrange rides to the island’s beaches, and you can also visit other islands. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re going to Tokashiki.

The hostel is full of useful instructions that make planning easier, including ferry details for Aka and Zamami islands and guidance on using things like the fan and washing machine. Laundry is free, too. I stayed a week at Kerama Backpackers and found it very clean, environmentally friendly, and equipped with a good kitchen. I totally recommend it.

I had a great time here. The customer service was really high quality, and the owner even helped me get a lost item back, which I appreciated. There’s free laundry, cheap snorkeling gear rental, and good restaurants within walking distance. The beach and ferry shuttle is free in both directions.
