Daiwa Roynet Hotel Tokushima Station

I stayed three nights and had a wonderful time. The room was new, clean and well equipped, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. Special thanks to Wada at the front desk, who called several nearby inns to help me book places for my henro after the two inns I'd planned to stay at were full. He made sure I could get a reservation. Thanks again for the help. I'd highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for somewhere in Tokushima city.

The room was spacious and very clean, and I appreciated the grab bars that help older guests get up and avoid slipping on the floor. The hotel is close to everywhere you want to go around the area. Breakfast was quite limited, though.

I've noticed in my years of traveling in Japan that senior staff often give especially thoughtful, attentive service. That's just my own experience, and the car park staff here were a great example. I left my handbag in the car by mistake, and he went out of his way to move the vehicle so I could retrieve it. With the lift-style parking system, I know that must have been inconvenient, especially at a busy time, and I really appreciated his help. I always stay here when I visit. The room size is reasonable for the price, the bathroom is spacious, room service is good, and the location is excellent, just steps from the JR station with a 7-Eleven right downstairs. Highly recommended.

The front desk staff were especially attentive and thoughtful, with a level of service that stood out compared with other major hotel brands. Their attention to detail made my stay memorable. The hotel is in an excellent location, and the rooms are comfortable and well maintained. I'll definitely choose this brand again on my next trip to Japan. Highly recommended!
