Restay Tokushima Aine (Adult Only)

We came across Restay Tokushima Aine while looking for somewhere to stay on my phone on the way back from a trip. The price was reasonable, breakfast was delicious, and there was a welcome drink. Members can also get discounts on food and drinks. By chance, it was my wife's birthday that day. We got a discount and paid half the room price, so we were very lucky. The weather was good too, and I had a comfortable stay. I’d like to come back. Thank you.

The staff were especially kind and helpful, even in the middle of the night. I felt bad asking them for help at that hour, but they made sure I was taken care of. The room and bathroom were spacious, and the cleaning was thorough, though the hotel feels a little dated compared with newer, stylish places. There was a slot machine in the room, which was fun to try. The food tasted good, but I would’ve liked a few more choices. I’d book here again if I get the chance. Thank you very much.

I booked through Booking.com for sightseeing in Tokushima, staying one night in a smoking room without meals. My rating is based on that, since I didn’t use the meal service. I’d been a little uneasy after reading some reviews, but the stay turned out comfortable. The garage area is dark and feels old, and the stairs up to the room are fairly steep. I was glad there was a handrail. Check-in starts at 6 PM. I arrived after dark, so I couldn’t judge the scenery or feel of the surroundings. You can go out again after checking in. The jet bath and massage chair both worked. I always check the facilities as soon as I enter a room. The showerhead was a ReFa, and I kind of wished the hairdryer was too. It was a Panasonic Ionity, which was fine. There was also a microwave and fridge, plus plastic wrap and small plates for microwave use, which I hadn’t seen provided at another hotel before. The amenities were fine, and there was disinfectant and deodorizing spray. The room had two fairly large trash cans, and there was another one in the bathroom.
