My mum especially enjoyed the buffet breakfast, and she says we'd choose this hotel again if we return to Japan. We slept well in the very comfortable beds, and the shower room was a highlight, especially the bathtub. The staff were friendly and easy to approach throughout our stay. We were lucky to find this stylish, contemporary hotel in the heart of Nishishinjuku. Bakeries, restaurants, and coffee shops are close by, as are a supermarket and metro station, both about a five-minute walk away. The amenities were high quality, and we got to enjoy both fancy and traditional restaurants nearby. We had a lovely stay, and I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo.

This part of Shinjuku is quiet, since it's on the business and west side rather than the touristy east side. The main shopping and tourist areas are about a 20-30 minute walk away. There are nearby train stations, though not a lot to do right by the hotel apart from Chuo park, which is nice. We had a great first stay in Tokyo. The room was clean and comfortable, and both the amenities and service were good. Breakfast was phenomenal and worth paying extra for. We also used the 7/11 in the basement several times a day, which was very convenient.

Of the three hotels we stayed at on this trip, this was our favorite. It felt modern, clean, and new, with really comfortable beds. Breakfast was good, too. Get there early if you want the yummy mini pancakes without a long wait. The hotel also has coin laundry and free skincare and toiletries samples, so you can pack fewer of those things. Our room was very small, with little space for our two big suitcases. The hotel is on the quieter side of Shinjuku, about 7-10 minutes from the nearest Subway station. That wasn't a big problem, but we got in a lot of steps walking in the extreme cold.

Breakfast at the Hearth restaurant was generous and excellent. I especially liked the fluffy, delicious pancakes. I spent five nights here on vacation in Japan, and found it a great place to stay. My room on the twelfth floor was nice, if not especially roomy, with a pleasant view over the surrounding area. The hotel sits on a quiet side street about a 15-minute walk from Shinjuku Station.

There are practical extras here that made my visit easier: free, high-quality cosmetic products, bottled water, rental adapters and ironing boards, plus washing machines for longer stays. A 7-Eleven inside the building was convenient, too. The staff were very friendly and always willing to help. I had a wonderful stay at the Daiwa Hotel Nishi Shinjuku. My room was clean and cozy, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel offers great value, comfort, and convenience. I'd happily stay again and recommend it.
