The location was handy, close to the yamenote line, but I wouldn't recommend the room. It was smaller than expected and still dirty, with used bottle caps and scraps of paper under the bed. We didn't look any further for more grime. The little closet space was being used by the owners as a cleaning closet, so it wasn't usable. The room felt too small for anyone over 170cm. WiFi stopped working and I had to fix it myself. The pictures suggest a big TV, but it's a projector built into the room light, and it randomly played alarms in the middle of the night.

There were plenty of food places and shops just a couple of minutes away, and the location was nice. My Friday stay was comfortable, with a clean room that was a good size and had the amenities I needed.

The local food spots were wonderful, and Otsuka station was a very short walk away, with lots of convenience stores nearby. We stayed five days through Airbnb. The room was clean, but the double bed and toilet felt a little small to share with my partner, who's 183cm, and me. The sheets weren't changed during our stay. With no staff on site, we had to find and restart the router ourselves when the WiFi got unstable. There was a projector, but it was built into the room light, so using it meant turning on the main light. For us, that defeated the point of having a projector for watching TV comfortably at night.

A full-length mirror and a more modern bathroom with a bidet and heated seat would've been welcome. Still, everything else was perfect: the place was nicely sized, clean, and close to plenty of amenities. Great for a short stay, and I'd recommend it.

The host replied quickly, and the price was cheap. The room is older but okay, and while it isn't big, there's enough space for large suitcases. It's less than five minutes from Ostuka station, which is a very good location. Just be aware there's nowhere to dry laundry or hang clothes outside. The bathroom is a very small, basic unit. There was a slight damp smell, though no mold, and we got used to it after about two minutes.
