The stairs are the main drawback here. There’s no elevator, and the narrow climb could be tough with heavy bags or limited mobility. My elderly parents had trouble getting up to the fourth floor, but when we asked to switch rooms, the host quickly arranged another unit and made it easy. Communication was great. Inside, the apartment is spacious by Tokyo standards, with a well-equipped kitchen for simple meals and a handy separate shower, toilet, and laundry setup. It’s a practical choice for families or longer stays. The location in central Shinjuku is also convenient, close to the business district and a short walk from the station, so getting around Tokyo was easy. Good value, and we’d book again if the stairs work for you.

We had the two-bedroom version, which sleeps four. One room is just for sleeping, while the master has the TV, sink, stove, fridge with freezer, and a folding dining table. It’s a self-service apartment with full cooking amenities, plus a washing machine and a small tub with hot and cold shower. The toilet is in a separate room from the shower and tub. There are also one-bedroom units.

The owner was really kind and even helped us arrange luggage delivery. The apartment itself has a good living area, kitchen, and washing machine, and it’s quiet and lovely. Great spot too, close to Shinjuku and the Yamanote line.

The main catch is the stairs, since there’s no elevator and you’ll have to haul your bags up if you’re on a higher floor. Otherwise, it’s a clean, modern place, near the train station with a few shops close by. The TV had some western programs too.

We chose the two-bedroom apartment and the kids loved it. It felt very new, was clean, and had everything we needed. Restaurants are all around, and the station is just a short walk away. There’s no elevator, but we’re fine with stairs, so that didn’t bother us. A great family stay.
