Hotel Livemax BUDGET Shimbashi

The room had loads of space, enough for me to work out and dance, and the Wi-Fi was really fast. I got the non-smoking room I requested, and the staff were so sincere and tried to speak my language. The two people I saw when arriving and leaving were the best, and all the extra hospitality made me feel at home. I could leave my bags there and even hang around for hours before heading to the airport. There were five hangers, carpeted floors, and everything felt great. Lawson, Aeon, Family Mart, and 7 11 are all around it. No complaints at all, highly recommend!

For the price, the room felt quite spacious. It had a washing machine, an electric stove, microwave, mini fridge, TV, and a decent amount of wardrobe space. There were also lots of charging ports, including USB and Type-C.

The staff were very kind and attentive, but the room let me down. It was cozy, though a bit cramped, and the bed felt too small for two people to sleep comfortably. I noticed a lingering cigarette smell and found cigarette butts under the bed. There was dust and dirt in some spots, and the furniture looked worn and dated, even though it worked. The hotel has some charm, but parts of the stay could be more comfortable.

The shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water, and the manager was attentive, though I couldn't understand him. My first room had a noisy heater, but they quickly moved me to another one. Still, check-in took half an hour because of confusion on their end. The room was old and dirty, the toilet didn't flush properly, the outlets were awkwardly placed, and the knob on the lamp's light switch was broken. It was overpriced, and I won't stay with this chain again. The manager may have been part of a non-democratic group opposed to Western values.
