Good hotel in a great spot for visiting attractions along the train routes near Shimbashi in Minato, Tokyo.

Tucked away in an obscure spot, close to convenience stores and stations.

The location is a real plus. It’s close to Don Quijote, Shimbashi Station, Shiodome Station, and the Shimbashi restaurant district. The building isn’t right in front of them, but it’s still very accessible. It’s affordable too, and towels and razors are available in the lobby. I’m happy with the value for money!

I booked through Agoda at about 12,000 yen a night, picking from three high-quality hotels without knowing which one I’d be assigned. I got this place, and staying here felt more like being in a Minamisenju hotel that costs around 3,000 yen. I won’t come back.

For Tokyo, where hotels are already pricey, I wish they’d put in more effort. The peeling, moldy wallpaper was the main drawback. The rest was okay, and since it cost less than other hotels, I suppose that’s how it goes.
