Hotel Nihonbashi Saibo

There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and the hotel is about 1 km from Tokyo station. The price was very reasonable compared with some of the hotels right by the station. It’s a small place, but clean and quiet, with bathrobes and lots of amenities, including single-use toiletries in the lobby.

The staff were easy to talk to and very prepared, even having a real-time translator device. The rooms are quite small, but that suited me since I was only sleeping there. I was really satisfied with how clean the place was and with all the things in the room for washing up and sleeping comfortably. I stayed here in 2024. There’s also a self-service laundry if you need it.

I’ve stayed here for a week before, two years ago, and came back for seven days during my 21-day Japan trip. The customer service is still great, and the rooms are clean. The tube station is only five minutes away, and the amenities are well stocked, including bathing salt. Good stay.

The room was neat and tidy, but too small for someone like me who isn’t used to Japanese urban housing, so I took off a star. There’s no parking. The front desk has free room supplies, tea and coffee, and ice creams, and they offer affordable baggage shipping. We sent two full-sized bags from Tokyo to Osaka for just 4000 Yen, which was hassle-free. The hotel is in a prime spot, close to the metro, with lots of lively places nearby. For the price, the facilities were beyond what I expected, and the staff were amazing, as they seem to be everywhere in Japan. I’d highly recommend staying here.
