The staff were considerate, even helping with my luggage in advance and letting me know a drink I'd ordered was free as a welcome drink. Getting here is easy too, since Kinshicho Station connects almost all the way through its building to Parco, so I barely got caught in the rain. I stayed in the basement suite with the open-air bath. The room was roomy, with a king bed, big sofa and monitor, plus JOYSOUND karaoke. Chromecast worked for YouTube and music. The indoor bath was spacious for Tokyo, and the outdoor tub was a good size for two. There was a TV by the indoor bath, while the open-air bath area had no monitor and felt more like a waiting space. Still, you could see into the sauna through its glass wall from the outdoor bath. The sink and locker were behind the bedroom, with the indoor bath nearby and the toilet, sauna, and open-air bath farther back. The one issue was a damp, musty smell between the shoe-removal area and hall door. I noticed it on arrival and it was still there when I left, so maybe it's settled into the space. Some stylish deodorizers or other nice-smelling items might help. Apart from that, the hotel was good. Saturday in peak season made the rate pretty high, but it was around what I'd paid before for a room with a bamboo open-air bath, so still within my budget.

The receptionist was really rude and disrespectful to foreigners. She treated me as if I were sick and needed proper care. I don't think she's suited to working in customer service.

The room in the photo is 405. It was better than I expected, and the location is a little outside the main hotel area, which made it easier to reach. I didn't like having to deal face to face with the front desk, and the bed felt a bit cheap.

At first glance, the location and the inside and outside of the hotel seemed fine, and the room was roomy and clean. But they added 10% to the rate afterward, which felt odd, and the bathroom was awful. The whole tub was coated in limescale. Maybe it was a one-off cleaning lapse, but it looked like more than a single missed clean, and it put both of us off staying there. We really can't recommend it. Fairy Group has plenty of nice things about this hotel, but this place damages the group's credibility.

I've stayed here dozens of times and never had a room like this before. There were two flies, and the bathroom smelled like a turtle tank, almost like a sewer. When I raised it, the pink-haired male staff member was rude and said they'd bring insecticide, that every room smelled the same, and that they couldn't move me. I paid 10,000 yen, and he was gone after five minutes. I'm not coming back.
