Sotetsu Fresa Inn Nihombashi Kayabacho

Kayabacho station is only a 30 second walk away, and the Asakusa (HND express) line is about 8 minutes away. That made it easy to get around to Tokyo's popular areas. I just finished a fantastic week here. The staff were so polite, the price was hard to beat, and the room was clean and had everything I needed, even though the size was standard for Tokyo.

I've stayed here twice and slept really well both times. I always book a double room, and the bed is spacious, very comfortable, and super soft. The bathroom is comfortable for two as well. Kayabacho Station's Exit A7 is just a short walk away. The hotel is easy to spot near Toyoko Inn in a brown brick building. Rooms are the usual size for Japan, so they're best if you're not bringing too many suitcases. Mine was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. Check-in and checkout were quick and smooth. Good value for the location and price, and I'd gladly stay again 😄

The main thing to consider is the room size. Mine was really small, and with one 20 inch suitcase I could only open it by the entrance. I had to move it whenever I opened the door. If you plan on doing lots of shopping, keep that space in mind. The rest of the stay was good. The hotel is a minute from kayabacho subway station, with several convenience stores nearby and a nice halal restaurant called "nawab biriyani" about a 2 minute walk away. The front desk staff were friendly, spoke English, and gave good service. My room was clean, the shower pressure was really good, and the toilet had a built-in bidet. On the 8th floor there are three laundry machines, costing 600 yen for a 2 hour wash and dry cycle. The same room has an ice machine, microwave, and currency and coin exchange machine. There are lockers on the first floor too. It was pretty quiet at night, with little noise from other rooms or the corridor. A good choice if location matters to you.

We upgraded to a double room, and the little bit of extra floor space was well worth it. The room was comfortable, and the large luggage lockers in the lobby came in handy. I also appreciated the many types of toiletries available in the lobby. The breakfast purchase at Pronto was small. This is a wonderful budget hotel and infant friendly too. I'd stay here again!
