We needed somewhere to catch up on sleep during a late layover, and this hotel worked perfectly for a short stay. It’s one stop from T3 on the KK line, and the free airport shuttle starts as early as 4 a.m., before trains are running. Check-in through the kiosk was easy. The room was tiny, like most hotel rooms in Japan, but made good use of its space with a desk, fridge, kettle, and humidifier. The bathroom was also well laid out, with a large sink and separate shower area. Even though we arrived after midnight, we could use the public bath before it closed at 1 a.m. I’d recommend the hotel for a short visit.

I booked mainly because the hotel is near Haneda Airport and I wanted a large bath, even though the Google reviews weren’t great at the time. After staying, I wondered who had left those low ratings. The staff were very attentive, there were plenty of amenities, and the bath was surprisingly spacious for a Tokyo hotel. Guestroom blocks are separated, and you need a room key to enter, which made me feel security was well managed. The bath isn’t available in the morning, but otherwise everything was excellent. I checked in at night and left early the next morning, so my stay was short. I’d love to come back and take my time next time.

The location felt a little out of the way, though I could still pick up a drink at the bar downstairs. There’s a free shuttle to Haneda for morning flights, and getting to the airport by train on the JR monorail or Keikyu line is pretty straightforward too. This was my first stay with the Group of hotels. The place seems new, and there’s another former inn nearby. I liked the comfortable bed and enjoyed the onsen, with nothing else to complain about. I’m planning to book with the Group again when I’m back in Tokyo in March, this time in Hamamatsucho.

The bath was the biggest disappointment for me. It’s closed from 1:00 am until 3:00 pm, which leaves little chance to use it if you arrive late or are recovering from a long flight. The water is chlorinated, too. The hallways are long, and getting to the elevators with luggage takes a tiring walk. I also couldn’t find clear information about late checkout. Outside, Haneda Innovation City seemed unusually quiet, and the nearby hotels have such similar names and logos that it’s easy to get confused after an international flight. Even with those drawbacks, I’d stay here again. It’s more peaceful than nearby options like Villa Fontaine, and the hotel is comfortable and dependable. The room was clean and practical, with good amenities. There are several drink vending machines, food vending near the public bath, and laundry on site. It works smoothly as a Tokyo business hotel. More reasonable bath hours and unchlorinated water would make the stay much better.

14 Feb update: The hotel has replied publicly, but I still haven’t heard anything directly about the item I left behind. 11 Feb: My room, 316, was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the hotel is handy for Haneda Airport. I had a pleasant stay overall. After checking out on 11 February, I realized I’d left a pair of black sports pants in the room. I emailed the hotel that same day and didn’t even get an acknowledgment. I know mistakes happen, but being ignored is disappointing, especially at an airport hotel where communication matters. I hope they respond better to lost-and-found inquiries in the future.
