Hotel Villa Fontaine Premier Haneda Airport - Directly connected to Haneda Airport Terminal 3

It’s connected to the airport, which made it easy to get some rest soon after a long flight into Japan. Of all the hotels we’ve stayed at so far in Japan, this has been the nicest. Our room was clean, quiet, and really comfortable, with an amazing river view when we woke up. The front desk guy welcomed us warmly, was very accommodating, and even offered to show us to the room. We had a great meal in the quiet, comfortable, luxurious restaurant. Large windows on the right side looked out over the river, and the staff were professional and polite. They brought a hot towel when we arrived, set the table nicely, and kept refilling our water. There was also a small savory soup appetizer on the house, though I can’t remember exactly what it was. It was delicious. The food was great, although the menu felt a little limited. Laundry is available at the coin laundry in villa fontaine grand next door. There’s a spa, but we didn’t visit it. I’m a little disappointed I didn’t try the bar on the first floor near reception. I’d recommend this as a first stop after arriving in Japan.

The room was compact, as is standard in Japan, but spotlessly clean. Check-in after midnight was smooth and easy at the automated kiosks. The hotel is modern and huge, and just a five-to-ten-minute walk from the arrival or departure hall. Checkout is at 11 a.m. I’d recommend it if you’re arriving late or flying out early from HND airport.

The location is hard to beat: the hotel is inside the airport and MRT station, with restaurants and shops on the same floor and more in the shopping plaza wing downstairs. It’s a great choice for an early flight when you’d rather avoid the stress of commuting. We sent our luggage over from another hotel during the trip, and it was already in our room when we checked in. The mini-fridge was stocked with drinks and there was a welcome snack. Our room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, and surprisingly spacious for Tokyo. We had two 31-inch suitcases open on the floor and still had room to move. The gym equipment was top-notch and from premium brands, while the spa-style facilities felt more like a retreat than a layover. Cleanliness, attention to detail, professionalism, and hospitality were all on point, and made our last trip much more comfortable. This is one of those rare airport hotels I’d want to come back to even without a flight. We had a comfortable, pleasant stay, and the amenities and service went beyond what I usually expect from an airport hotel. We’d happily consider it again.

Direct access through Terminal 3 and convenient nearby shopping, restaurants, and transport make this a comfortable option for travelers who value ease. The rooms are stylish and spacious, with modern design, scenic views, and a quiet atmosphere that helps with relaxing before or after a flight. Service was efficient, and the natural hot spring facility is soothing. Stays can feel expensive for a short layover, and some guests mention long indoor walks between terminals. Dining options within the hotel are limited, which may not work well for anyone staying longer.
