Just a few minutes on foot from the train station, so getting around was easy. Our first-floor room had a separate living area and bathroom, with plenty of space, a wet and dry separation, and even a small tub. We could fit two 24-inch suitcases, and there was a microwave, fridge, and electric kettle. It was reasonably clean, though the soundproofing could be better. Everything else was satisfactory, and I'd come back.
When my partner and I went to bed and turned off the lights, we heard a clacking noise from the attic and behind the walls. It made me uneasy, like small animals such as mice might be scurrying around. The room also didn't seem properly cleaned. As soon as I walked in, I started sneezing and my eyes got uncontrollably itchy. I lifted the mattress to check, and, as the attached photo shows, it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. My partner called it an experience, and the stay did remind me how important they are to me. I'm grateful to the inn for giving us that opportunity.
Only about a five-minute walk from Shin-Koiwa Station, and the room had room for two suitcases without blocking the walkway. It was clean and comfortable, and the neighborhood was quiet, so it's not a place for making loud noise.
It's just a house, and it's expensive.
The location was the one good thing, but for this price there should be better options. The room looked very different from the booking site's pictures, and there was nowhere to store luggage. For four people, there were only two blankets. It did have a small kitchen and a toilet with a bathtub, but the space was extremely small.
