The location is excellent, and the price is low for the Asakusa area, so I'd recommend it if you're trying to save money. There's a convenience store nearby, which is handy, and the main annoyance was having to deal with the double lock every time I went out. The room smelled bad and only had a shower. Getting in was confusing at first: after opening the door, you have to unlock it again. Once you understand the procedure, it's no problem, but it was the most difficult part.

I stayed in room B2. Rooms A2 and B2 are on the second floor, where stairs lead up to a rooftop you can use, though you probably can't make much noise there. The room was musty, and the windowsill was dirty and poorly cleaned when I tried to open the window for ventilation. Gnats were flying around. The booking site said checkout was at 12:00, but a sign in the room clearly said 10:00, which felt like a blatant scam. The owner's explanation wasn't helpful, and it was very unclear how to check in. I called several times, but communication with the staff, who seemed to be foreigners, wasn't very smooth.
