My wife and I stayed for five nights and really enjoyed the calm atmosphere. It was a lovely place to relax and recharge.

There’s a convenience store nearby, along with Chinese restaurants and izakayas, which is great. Since this is a private lodging place, I found it more convenient and easier to use than a hotel.

We had a very unsettling stay, and the host's customer service felt incredibly passive. I wouldn't recommend this place. Before handing over the room, the landlord hadn't checked it, so they missed both the badly damaged lock and a pair of shoes left in the shoe cabinet by a previous guest. Basic checks like making sure the door locks, giving guests the right room number and password, and clearing out someone else's belongings weren't done. Even after these mistakes, the landlord didn't take the initiative to tell us what was happening. When we checked in, the door lock was broken and couldn't be locked, leaving the room open to anyone coming and going. The host brushed off our concern by saying there were security cameras in the building and it was very safe. We had to keep pressing them to fix the lock, and they didn't proactively update us. It wasn't repaired until the evening of our third day. After the repair, the host said our password was still the one from the first day, but it didn't work and we couldn't get in. We tried another password the host had given us on the first day when the lock was malfunctioning, and that one opened the door. Around 10 PM that night, strangers repeatedly tried to open the door and seemed to be trying to get in. When we opened it to ask what was going on, they said they'd booked our room too. The host told us they'd handle it after we contacted them, but nothing happened until about half an hour later, when another group came back, knocked, apologized, and said the host had given them the wrong room number. The host never explained what had happened. The landlord seemed very confident in the building's security cameras, but if we hadn't kept insisting the lock be fixed before those other guests tried to enter, they could easily have gotten into our room. That felt extremely dangerous. I've never stayed in such a terrible guesthouse. I'm sharing this awful experience for others to consider.
