Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyobashi

The hotel was affordable, and the service made it feel even better value. Everyone was attentive from check-in through the rest of our stay. We’d accidentally booked a smoking room, but there wasn’t even a faint tobacco smell. It was spotless, the beds were very comfortable, and they provided pyjamas. Instead of removing basic items like toothbrushes, they let guests choose what they need from supplies in the lobby. The room had high-quality drinking water, and reception would bring us more whenever we asked. We also got complimentary snacks, and it felt like they hadn’t cut corners anywhere. This was a great example of Japanese hospitality. I was genuinely sad to leave, and it’s one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in.

The rooms were cute and very clean, though they could use more storage. Staff were friendly, if a little slow. It’s a quiet area and the trains are conveniently close, with a great price for what you get. The main downside is that the windows don’t open, so the only way to get “fresh” air is through the A/C. Still, a good hotel.

On our latest visit, the staff noticed we’d booked a smoking room even though we don’t smoke and helped us switch to a non-smoking one before we had to ask. They handled it politely and smoothly, which was especially appreciated after a long day of travel. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the Kyobashi location is handy for getting around Tokyo. I’ve stayed at Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyobashi twice now, and the reliable quality and thoughtful service have made it one of my regular choices. I’d happily stay again and recommend it.

K. Nakamura (Nakamura) made a big difference to our stay. We’d mistakenly booked a smoking room on our first visit to Japan, not knowing that many hotels clearly separate smoking and non-smoking rooms. The smell was strong, and we were worried about spending the rest of our trip in that room. Mr. Nakamura was kind, patient, and clearly concerned about our comfort. Even though the booking mistake was ours, he made a real effort to find a better option. He moved us to a much better non-smoking room, which changed the experience for us. His professionalism and willingness to help deserve recognition. I had an excellent experience at this hotel and highly recommend it.
