This was a good place to stay in a quiet neighborhood, with 7-11 and Lawson close by for snacks and drinks. It's around a five-minute walk to downtown train lines and 10-15 minutes on foot to Ueno station, a major transport hub. The room was spacious enough and had the usual microwave, washing machine, and fully furnished kitchenette. We did have to make the two beds on the tatami ourselves. It wasn't a problem, but it would have felt more hospitable if they had been ready before we arrived.

Good room option for a family of five, and having a washing machine inside was great. The location is very accessible, with 7-Eleven, Family Mart, and drugstores nearby. Most of all, the train stations are within walking distance.

The washer and dryer gave off a foul smell after running, and it made the whole hotel room smell rotten. Luggage forwarding was only available to airports.

I regret choosing this place. From the start, the receptionist told me to call AGODA to change the name on my booking. I spent an hour on the phone with the booking company sorting it out, and I'm not looking forward to seeing the roaming charges. The shower room also smelled dank. Staff poured drain cleaner down it, which helped briefly, but the smell was back the next morning. On top of that, the hotel wouldn't accept food delivery at reception. My Uber Eats order couldn't be delivered and was cancelled, leaving my kids without dinner and wasting ¥7772 worth of food. I won't stay here or at any other MONday apartments again.
