We found the entrance hard to spot, and saw a few couples get lost or head to the main hotel, so clearer signs would help. Taxis also don't drop you right at the hotel, which means you may have to roll your luggage a few short streets. The basement onsen was nice, as were the free half-bowl of ramen and the ice cream bars and lollies. The laundry was a godsend, although you have to get keys for both machines from reception. The washer is free, while the dryer costs 100y for 30 minutes. Our room was a good size, with separate toilet and bath areas, a comfortable low bed, and very hard pillows. Wifi worked well. We could hear some noise from nearby eateries, but it was okay once the blinds were down. It took a little time to get used to taking shoes off at reception, though it did help keep the hotel clean.

We loved everything about our stay, and I'm so sad that today was our last day here. The onsen was our favorite, and the yakisoba and complimentary ice cream were amazing. I honestly have nothing bad to say. The hotel is conveniently placed in Asakusa, near the temple, shops, and a don quixote. Book it for your Japan trip, you won't regret it!

The staff at check-in were lovely and accommodating, and the hot springs and free ramen after 9PM made the stay even better. Tattoos need to be covered in the baths. It's a peaceful spot, sheltered from street noise, right beside Sensō-ji temple, which you can see without the big crowds. Train stations are less than a five-minute walk away. As a woman traveling solo for the first time, I couldn't recommend this place more. It is a little way out of Tokyo, but I'd definitely stay here again on my next trip to Japan.

Friendly, approachable staff and a new, clean, quiet hotel. It's a Japanese-style onsen hotel with tatami flooring, and you leave your shoes in lockers in the lobby before check-in, then walk around barefoot. The onsen stays open late. They offer complimentary ramen for supper, ice cream, and Yakult in the morning. A 24-hour supermarket and donki are nearby, and GU, Uniqlo, Muji, Daiso, 3 coins, and Kura are all within a five-minute walk.
